Race on the Agenda's Conference on Brexit and BAME Communities

Rarely a day, or a news cycle, goes by without Brexit dominating the headlines. Yet there has been little mention of Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities – the hopes, fears and expectations of 8 million Britons still a glaring omission from the debate.

As a ‘No Deal’ Brexit becomes ever-more likely, join us for the launch of our briefing: Brexit for BME Britain, 22nd November, which follows our AGM. We will present the findings followed by a Q&A with:

  • Femi Oluwole, Chief Spokesperson, Our Future, Our Choice, regular Brexit commentator on Sky News, BBC, The Independent, The Times and Evening Standard: the leading anti-Brexit campaign that centres the voices of young people

  • Kunle Olulode, Director, Voice4Change England, a national advocate for the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community sector (BMS VCS) and pro-Brexit commentator

Guest speakers: Nahir de la Silva, Policy and Communications Officer, Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS). And more speakers TBC.  And more speakers TBC.
