Why Resource for London

We are:

Not for profit: All of the proceeds from the activities directly benefit the voluntary sector in London, in particular groups working to address poverty

Affordable: The Centre offers rents and room hire that are very competitive i.e. subsidised and therefore affordable to the capital's voluntary sector

Social Landlord: It is owned by the Trust for London and its activities, whilst being highly professional, are at the same time designed with the voluntary sector in mind i.e. short leases, shared services

Accessible: The Centre is fully DDA compliant and accessible to people with a range disabilities

Ethical: Services within the Centre are procured to high standards e.g. in employment practices for all staff. The Centre is a living wage employer

Environmental: The Centre is managed to good environmental standards e.g. cleaning, energy suppliers and has a Carbon Trust Standard certificate

Well Equipped: The Centre has state of the art equipment for meetings, conferences etc.

Catering: The in house catering, which includes a cafe, is able to cater for all diets.

About Trust for London

The Trust for London aims to enable and empower the poor of London to tackle poverty and its root causes. We achieve our aims by funding charitable work. Grants are made through our open programme and we also fund special initiatives. The Trust aims to develop supportive relationships with the community and voluntary organisations that are funded and to encourage the sharing of learning and skills. We use this knowledge to influence and promote change.
