Lynda Stevens

Lynda has spent most of her life living in London and working in local authority and charitable housing.  She specialised in housing management, customer service and corporate services.

She was a Trustee of the Trust for London for twelve years and in addition to being the Chair of Resource for London, the charity, she is the Chair of the Bellingham Community Project, the second subsidiary of the Trust for London.

Denise Joseph

Denise is a Chartered Accountant with experience in the commercial sector advising a diverse range of owner-managed businesses and public and private companies.  She spent six years working as Fundraising and Finance Director and as well as one year as Co-Director of Mango, an award-winning UK-based charity, that works to strengthen the financial management and accountability of NGOs working in humanitarian relief and development all around the world.  Denise now primarily works in two family businesses. She is also a trustee of OneVoice Europe, Nisa-Nashim, the Jewish Muslim Women’s Network and JW3 Development; she is a co-opted member of the Finance Committee of Trust for London.

Stephen Burns

Stephen Burns is the Executive Director for Communities at Peabody.  Peabody is one of London’s largest and oldest housing associations and charities.  He joined Peabody in 1998. Stephen is responsible for Peabody’s housing management and community investment.

Stephen has held several other senior management roles within the organisation.  He previously oversaw Peabody’s new-build housing development programme and estate regeneration, new home sales and marketing and commercial property management.  He also previously led Peabody’s retirement and supported housing and care services.Prior to working at Peabody, Stephen spent 11 years working for charities, technology companies and the welfare to work sector. Stephen is also a trustee of Trust for London and united St Saviours.
